Teen Begs for Return of Lost Wallet With Photo of Her Deceased Mom

The North Fork teen was at Jones Beach when she lost the irreplaceable and precious photo of her mother, who died in 2013.

NORTH FORK, NY — Bekah Connor, 18, of Laurel, lost more than just her wallet at Jones Beach Thursday.

She was at Field 6 when the wallet disappeared, she said — and it contained a precious photo of her mother, who died in 2013.

Connor left the wallet in the girls' bathroom; the wallet had $25, a movie card, her ID, and the photo of her beloved mom.

"You can keep all the money and the wallet itself," she wrote on Facebook. "I don't even care about the ID at this point. All I want is the picture of my mother. It's the only thing I care about. So please, have a heart and give that back to me."

Anyone who finds the wallet can contact Southold Town Police at 631-765-2600.
