Police: Three Arrested at Sobriety Checkpoint in Southold
Police conducted the checkpoint throughout the Town of Southold on Saturday.

Three people were arrested at a sobriety checkpoint throughout the Town of Southold conducted by the East End STOP-DWI Task Force on Saturday, according to Southold Town Police.
Over 300 drivers were interviewed at the checkpoint in Mattituck alone, police said.
Moises Martinez-Anzurez, 28, of Greenport, was arrested for aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law for driving drunk with a child or children in the car, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

Roberto Garrido, 28, of Greenport, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation of a vehicle and an interlock restriction violation, police said.
Garrido was arrested in 2013 for driving drunk in Cutchogue.

Jacob Riehl, 24, of Southold, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation and an interlock restriction violation, according to police.
Riehl was previously arrested in 2014 for aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
