Valentine's Day Cat Cafe Coming To Greenport
What's more purrfect that coffee with a kitty? "Adoption for those who fall in love," the North Fork Animal Welfare League says.
GREENPORT, NY — Cat cafes are springing up in communities on Long Island and across the world, giving animal lovers a chance to unwind and enjoy the company of their four-legged friends.
Now, the North Fork Animal Welfare League is hosting a "Valentine's Day Cat Cafe." The event is slated for Saturday, Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Library, located at 539 1st Street in Greenport.
"Get cozy with our adoptable cats and kittens and a hot cup of coffee," the NFAWL said. "Adoption for those who fall in love."
