Volunteers Needed At Eastern Long Island Hospital Auxiliary

Teens are welcome to sign on to dedicate time to the Auxiliary at ELIH, too.

GREENPORT, NY —Here's the chance to give back in a big way: Volunteers are needed at the Eastern Long Island Hospital Auxiliary.

Opportunities available include front desk responsibilities, working at The Opportunity Shop in Greenport, at the Corner Shop in ELIH's lobby, devoting time to fundraising events, and assisting in various hospital departments.

According to a release from ELIH, the Auxiliary is a winning team, named Best Small Auxiliary by the Health Care Association of New York State and awarded the 2017 Community Service Award by The North Fork Chamber of Commerce.
