Winning $50K Powerball Ticket Sold In Greenport

GREENPORT, NY — One of eight $50,000 winning Powerball tickets on Long Island for Wednesday's drawing was sold in Greenport — at Mr. Roberts.

The lucky winner purchased the ticket at the GMS Grocery, also known as Mr. Roberts, located at 300 Front Street in the village.

One ticket sold in Massachusetts won the massive $758 million jackpot.

Mega-Millionaire Lottery Winners: Where Are They Now?


In Nassau County, only one winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold at 124 Plandome Road in Manhasset, the New York Lottery told Patch Tuesday.

In Suffolk County, the other winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Commack South Stationery - 22 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway in Commack
  • Neighborhood Country Deli - 73 Whittier Dr. in Mastic Beach
  • The Corner Store - 84 Echo Ave. in Miller Place
  • 7-Eleven - 4490 Sunrise Highway in Oakdale
  • Mr. Tobacco - 17 Singer Lane in Smithtown
  • Scotty's Pub - 227 Montauk Highway in West Sayville

A total of 730,336 “winning” tickets were sold in New York for Wednesday's drawing. There were no jackpot winners but three people won the $1 million prize. The million-dollar winning tickets were sold in:

  • KWIK Fill on 3724 Harlem and Cleveland in Cheektowaga
  • Hudson News on 625 8th Avenue in New York City
  • Chunnu News on 700 3rd Avenue in New York City

A total of 32 people who bought tickets in New York won a $50,000 prize while 2,495 people won $100. The rest of the winning tickets were between $4 and $7. The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday were: : 06-07-16-23-26 and Powerball 4.
