Woman Caught Trying To Break Into Parked Cars: Police
She stole items from local drug stores, police say.

GREENPORT, NY —A woman was caught trying to break into parked cars in Greenport, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place Friday at 11:30 a.m. on First Street; Sheryl Davis, 51, of Greenport was arrested and charged with petty larceny and fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
An investigation revealed that Davis was the woman that was attempting to get into the parked cars; during the investigation Davis was found with items stolen from Colonial Drugs & Surgicals, police said. During the course of the investigation it was also determined that Davis was also responsible for stealing items from that Mattituck CVS, an incident that was reported on Nov. 30, police said. Davis was additionally charged with another count of petty larceny for that incident, police said.
