Woman Charged With Drunk Driving in Peconic: Police
The arrest was made on Tuesday evening.
PECONIC, NY - A Massachusetts woman was arrested on a DWI charge in Peconic on Tuesday evening, according to Southold Town Police.
Renne Montreuil, 56, was driving a 2003 black Lexus eastbound on Route 25 and failed to stop at a red light on Cox Lane, according to police.
Montreuil was stopped at about 6:26 p.m. and found to be intoxicated, police said.

She was arrested on a DWI charge, transported to headquarters, processed and held for arraignment, according to police.
