Woman Driving While Impaired By Drugs, Alcohol, Crashes: Cops
She was also charged with leaving the scene, police say.
GREENPORT, NY —A Greenport woman was arrested after she crashed a motor vehicle and was found to be ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Jean Eckardt, 62, was arrested on Wednesday at 8:36 p.m. on Route 25 in Greenport and charged with driving while ability impaired by combined drugs and alcohol, as well as leaving the scene of the crash.
She was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed , and held for arraignment, police said.
