Woman Holds Up North Fork Gas Station At Gunpoint: Cops

She fled north on foot after brandishing what appeared to be a handgun at the North Fork gas station, police say.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — The search is on for a woman who held up a Cutchogue gas station at gunpoint early Sunday, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place at 2:09 a.m. at the Valero gas station on Route 25. The attendant told officers that a white female entered the business, displayed what appeared to be a handgun, and demanded money, police said.

After the cash was handed over, the woman left on foot and headed north, police said.
