"We are defined by our choices. You show me your friends and I will show you your future." Wrestler Marc Mero and Kait's Angels team up.

MATTITUCK, NY — Former professional wrestler/boxer and motivational speaker Marc Mero and Kait's Angels have teamed up to help kids fight back against bullying.

Kait's Angels, a not-for-profit organization, was organized with a mission of doing good work in honor of Kaitlyn Doorhy, from Mattituck, who died tragically at 20 while away at college.
In an emotional video about his mother, Mero elicited tears from the young audience at a past event.

"The greatest gift my mother ever gave me was that she believed in me," he said in a YouTube video. "I've overdosed on three occasions where I should have been dead. I believe I was kept alive for a reason."
Mero's goal and dream is to empower kids against bullying, while also speaking on suicide prevention and dreaming big.
"You show me your friends and I will show you your future," Mero said in the video. "I hung out with losers and I became the biggest loser of them all. I gave up everything I dreamt about as a little boy because of who I chose to surround myself with."
Today, he teaches kids about how to make good choices and spreads a powerful message about anti-bullying, dreaming big and preventing suicide.
"Our mission statement says that we will provide youth programs to our community," Joe Doorhy, Kait's father said, of the program hosted by Kait's Angels. "Marc Mero is a dynamic speaker and we feel that he will have a strong message to send to our youth."
