2 Men Used Stolen Credit Cards In East Northport: Police

The men used the stolen cards to buy video game gear, police say.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the two men who police said used stolen credit cards in East Northport in February.

Two men entered a vehicle in a parking lot, at 2050 Jericho Turnpike, around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 16, and stole credit cards, police said. Shortly after, they used the stolen credit cards to purchase video game gear at Best Buy in East Northport, then drove off in a dark-colored BMW SUV with gold NYS license plates, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
