The owner of the Thrift Shop notified Skipper’s Pub that the lantern was found and the decorative light will soon be installed back to where it was located for almost four decades.

After the lantern went missing from outside of Skipper’s Pub, a hefty reward was offered to anyone who had information on its whereabouts.

The bronze nautical lantern with a red lens served as a decorative light to the right of the pub’s front door, located at 34 Main St. An identical lantern with a green lens is still located to the left of the front door.

The lanterns are approximately 24 inches high and 12 inches wide. These lanterns have been part of Skipper’s Pub since it opened more than 40 years ago.
