NORTHPORT, NY — As one of the larger communities on Long Island, there's always something going on in Northport. Check out these three local Facebook pages you should like or groups you should request access to.

• Artisan House: Located on Northport's Main Street, Artisan House sells gifts, home & garden items, baby items, jewelry, lamps, signs and more. Follow its Facebook page for updates and pictures of new items like signs, ceramic mugs, toys, baby clothes and more.
• Karp's Hardware and Homebrew: As the name suggests, Karp's sells hardware and homebrew supplies, meaning you can grab what you need to make your own beer and wine at home. The store is also a full service FFL, selling firearms and ammunition. Karp's uses Facebook to alert customers of store closures, new supply imports, holiday hours, etc.
• The Crossroads Cafe: A restaurant serving American comfort food such as seafood, steak and pasta. It doesn't maintain a super active Facebook page, though it does post whenever a musical act is dropping by to perform at the cafe.
