4 Northport High School Students Selected For NYSSMA All-State
Out of more than 7,000 New York State students, only 900 were selected.

NORTHPORT, NY — Music is alive and well in Northport. Four Northport High School students were selected to perform in the String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra and Treble Chorus at the NYSSMA All-State Festival in December.
The students — Alison Crosley, Maxwell DeBrino, Angelina Saccone and Juliana Tjornhom — were among the top students to perform a NYSSMA Level VI solo for a NYSSMA adjudicator last April. Out of more than 7,000 students statewide, only 900 were selected.
Saccone and Tjornhom, who both play violin, were selected to All-State String Orchestra. DeBrino, who plays cello, made Symphony Orchestra. And Crosley, an alto, was chosen for Treble Chorus.
