EAST NORTHPORT, NY — Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help identifying 2 people accused of stealing more than $11,000 worth of off-road vehicles from an East Northport home, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives, the theft happened at a home on Larkfield Road in the early morning hours of April 14.
Police said the suspects entered a detached garage in the backyard around 3:15 a.m. and stole three vehicles: a 2000 Honda ATV, a 2023 Honda dirt bike, and a 2005 Kawasaki dirt bike.'
The combined value of the stolen vehicles is estimated at $11,400, police said.
Surveillance images released by police show two individuals wearing hooded sweatshirts in the driveway area near the home during the overnight hours.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, submitting a tip through the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting P3Tips.com.
Police said all tips will remain confidential.
