Local holiday shopping in a historic village church
Browse for handmade presents, bid for exciting gift baskets and fill a sack with an assortment of homemade Christmas cookies at the St. Nicholas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 5.
The bazaar, a yearly holiday tradition, is hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church in its Houghton Hall on Northport’s picturesque Main Street. In addition to the craft tables, auction baskets and “Cookie Walk” table, this year’s bazaar will feature raffle prizes of $500 in holiday cash and an assortment of local gift cards, vendor tables, antiques, a “Bottle Bonanza,” fresh evergreen wreaths, a children’s shopping area, photos with Santa, a Christmas thrift shop and a cafe where shoppers can rest and enjoy hot soup, quiche, lasagna, sandwiches, desserts and beverages.
Admission to the bazaar, which will open at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m., is free. Trinity Church is located at 130 Main St., Northport. For information, please call the church office at 631-261-7670.
