Arrest Log: Person Struck With 20-Foot Metal Object, Credit Card Theft

Monday, Jan. 11

At 1:49 a.m., Brian McKenna was arrested for second degree assault after police said he struck someone in the head with a 20-foot-long metal level on Bayview Avenue. The victim suffered a laceration to his forehead and required 27 stitches and four staples.

Friday, Jan. 15

At 10 a.m., Devin McCallister, 22, of Fort Salonga was arrested for stealing two credit cards and a cell phone from a woman’s home, police said. He was arrested on Main Street and was charged with two counts of fourth degree grand larceny, two counts of fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny.

Saturday, Jan. 16

At 5:46 p.m., a 58-year-old Northport woman was issued two field appearance tickets for petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property after she was caught shoplifting from King Kullen Supermarket on Fort Salonga Road.

Saturday, Jan. 23

At 10:39 a.m., an 18-year-old Northport man was pulled over on Larkfield Avenue and was arrested for third degree unlawful fleeing a police officer, unreasonable speed and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
