Art and Antiques Appraisal Day

Do you have a family heirloom or garage sale treasure that you'd like to have appraised? Here's your chance!

The Northport Historical Society announces the return of its popular Antiques & Art Appraisal Day, to be held on Saturday, November 5th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. A ticket for this Antiques Roadshow-style fundraising event includes the evaluation and appraisal of one item by special guest appraisers Lark Mason, of Antiques Roadshow and iGavel.com, Mee-Seen Loong of Sotheby’s, and David Pumphrey, a private estate and collections appraiser. The ticket cost is $30 per item for NHS members and $40 for non-members. A maximum of two tickets can be purchased per person. All proceeds will be used to benefit the work of the Historical Society.

A “Meet the Appraisers” kick-off reception will be held the evening prior to the Appraisal Day event from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Society’s museum at 215 Main Street, Northport. Tickets for this exclusive event are available for $60 and will afford attendees a rare opportunity to meet the appraisers in an intimate setting.
