Attaboy Q+A and Book Signing for "The Book of Hugs"

Hi-Fructose Magazine co-founder & Long Island native Attaboy returns to sign the 2nd printing of his latest humor book "The Book of Hugs

Long Island native Attaboy returns to signthe second printing of his latest humor book The Book of Hugs at Haven Gallery in Northport, LI., A Q and A about the new book, Hi-Fructose Magazine, animation projects and toys with Haven Gallery owner Erica Berkowitz will precede the signing. The Book of Hugs is a perfect hilarious gift for Valentine’s Day for all ages.

Attaboy grew up in Rocky Point, LI. and graduated from the FIT Toy Design Program before moving to the San Francisco bay Area. Artist, publisher and toy inventor Attaboy (AKA Daniel Seifert) started his career designing toys for Milton Bradley and Hasbro. Later he went out on his own to create designer toys for himself (The Wxtrx , the Gooberry), license his work as books and calendars, and apparel, and to create/direct animation properties (like 2007’s Too Many Robots for the Disney Channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iZOAhg9BC4) and tour with his strange band Attaboy and Burke and their medicine show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr7frcPUHGQ).

But lately, Attaboy is best known for two things: his odd humor/children’s books: The Book of Hugs, The Lil’ Book of Butts, The Polka Dots Learn to Polka, and You Might Be a Monster and the critically acclaimed Hi-Fructose New Contemporary Art Magazine which he co-founded with his wife, the artist Annie Owens. Hi-Fructose, which has grown to be the best selling art magazine at Barnes and Noble, began in 2005 and has spawned a series of best selling Collected Edition Books as well as an extensive following in print as well as online and through social media (over 500k Instagram followers, over 550K followers on Facebook, etc.).
