Students at Elwood Middle School learned an important message about anti-bullying and treating people with kindness during a PTA-sponsored assembly called “The Blue Project” that was presented by an award-winning singer/songwriter.
The Blue Project is an interactive live concert that uses music, humor and personal experiences to convey a message about some of the most crucial elements to living out life with purpose.
During the presentation, Jared Campbell shared the basis behind his original songs including, “Catch a Glimpse of Blue,” “The Flight” and “Life is Good,” prior to performing for the crowd. Through the song’s meaningful and uplifting lyrics, Campbell inspired students to find their true passion in life, appreciate others around them, ceasing to bully those that are different and forming life lasting relationships with the friends and family surrounding them.
