Boy Scout Troop 52 honors service men and women at weekend events

Boy Scout Troop 52 participated this past weekend in numerous events to honor our Service men and women. Friday night was a flag placement at Pulaski school where over 6,000 flags were placed in the field to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Saturday Troop 52 ran the main water station for the I Did the Grid race. Also on Saturday, the Troop had “Chris” runners honoring Christopher G. Scherer, an Eagle Scout from Troop 52 who lost his life in the line of duty in 2007. On Memorial Day the Troop marched in the East Northport parade and participated in ceremonies afterwards at John Walsh Memorial Park.
