Happy Father's Day

Father’s Day. It’s a day to honor your Father; to thank him for all that he has done for you and taught you. I hope your Father fits that category. 

If your Father does not fit that category; if he has been less than perfect, try to find it in your heart to forgive him. He probably knows that he has been a disappointment to you, but try to give him a second chance, or maybe a third or fourth chance. 

If you are a Father, your day is a day to reflect honestly on how you’ve done. Hopefully, your children will shower you with special love and praise on this day.  If not, it’s a day to resolve to do better, to mend those fences.  Be the one to bring the family together.  There is still time.  Look forward to the next Father’s Day when you can smile and be proud of your progress.

Won’t it be great when your children can look you in the eye and say, “Dad, I’m glad to have you for my Father.”
