Northport Field Hockey Fights Cancer
Northport Field Hockey SCORES AGAIN with a very successful fundraiser for cancer research. All of the money raised is being donated in the name of David Trachtenberg.
THANK YOU to all of our friends and familys!
Despite the cold, clammy weather on Saturday, Northports Varsity and JV Field Hockey teams PLAYED 4 THE CURE. The raw day didn't turn away the crowds of supporters either.
The field hockey teams volunteered their time, made Support Cancer Research signs, baked goodies to sell and arranged beautiful baskets to be raffled off at the end of the games.

All of the money raised is being donated to the American Cancer Society in the name of Northport High School Social Studies Teacher David Trachtenberg, who recently lost his life to cancer at age 35.
Great job Girls!
