Northport NY Real Estate – Pre-Inspecting Your Home

You have your home on the market for five weeks and now you have an offer which you have accepted. The agent schedules the engineering inspection and you lose sleep wondering what will come up. If you’ve been through this event, chances are you can relate!  Why cause yourself aggravation?

I have recommended pre-engineering inspections for my clients and they have always been a great benefit. A pre-engineering inspection can eliminate inspection issues from arising during a home inspection as the report is reviewed with the seller ahead of time, prior to the actual sale.

I recommend this approach if you are currently considering the sale of your home.  A “leaky” pipe or faucet can turn into thousands of dollars in negotiations! If pre-inspected and repaired, you’ve eliminated the opportunity entirely!
