Spring is when all of your competition decides to list their homes for sale, which makes the competition greater. When you have more competition, you can actually get less for your home! Higher levels of inventory usually equate to lower sales prices as the buyers have more to chose from. The best time to list your home for sale is when the inventory levels are at their lowest levels.
Fall/Winter time often feels like a “slow” selling season, however you might be surprised to know that there are many homes sold during this season! Often colder weather will bring less showings but more serious buyers. Remember that no one really wants to go out looking for a home in the cold unless they really need to buy!

The Fall/Winter season usually offers the lowest amount of competing inventory. Buyers who need to buy will only have a few choices and this is great for anyone who braves the fall/winter season!
