Chef's Special Menu 10~4~2013

Every weekend I develop a special menu featuring appetizers, soups, salads & entrees. Provocative foods! Featuring fresh seafood done simply & delicious. I invite you to come and try. Like a Zen Garden, there's more going on in here than appears.

I personally invite you to come by my kitchen & my house!


Appetizers:

  • Lobster Cake with balsamic glazed Portobellos (these will probably sell out!)
  • Gingerale Tempura Asparagus & Artichoke Hearts with a plum sauce
  • Shrimp & Sesame Toasted Eggplant Lettuce Wraps with a slash of Siracha
Soup:
  • Toasted Sage Cannellini Bean
Salad:
  • Heirloom Tomato & Pickled Beet Salad
  • Fig, Endive, Almond & Honey Chevre with honey lemon dressing
Entrée:
  • Sole Searcher ~ stuffed sole with lump crab, spinach & feta
  • Lamb chop with mint yogurt sauce
  • Roasted Spanish Mackerel with braised endive & avocado
  • Fruitti de Mar ~ Mussels, Shrimp, Clams, Jumbo Scallops in classic wine sauce over risotto
  • Home Made Pumpkin Raviolis with Asiago cheese sauce - these melt in your mouth literally
  • Grilled Swordfish
  • Charcoal Calamari ~ large squid grilled & tossed with a tangy vinaigrette
Pastry:
  • Chiffon Apricot Mousse ~ this is as elegant as it sounds. Lightly sweet, fluffy and whispy is truly what heaven must be like. Served with a half-dipped chocolate shortbread cookie.
  • Pumpkin Patch at Midnight ~ Pumpkin & Dark Chocolate Cheese cake with a chocolate graham crust
  • Pumpkin Flan ~ Fall twist on classic flan. Caramel bottom & Pumpkin Custard served with a cayenne pepper & pumpkin seed toffee. Sweet and Spicy!
