Chocolate & Wine Tasting At Northport Historical Society: Info
The event comes a week before Valentine's Day.
NORTHPORT, NY — The Northport Historical Society is hosting a special chocolate and wine tasting — just in time for Valentine's Day. The tasting is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Northport Historical Society at 215 Main St., Northport.
The edible journey will feature wine paired with exotic chocolates by Chocolate Sommelier Roxanne Browning, owner of Exotic Chocolate Tasting and a former Mayor of Northport Village.
Participants will enjoy a luscious passport around the world and discover the history of chocolate, how it’s made, the health benefits, and how cacao sustains the rain forest, the society said. Proceeds from the event will benefit the society's education programs.
