Coco, Puff, Taffy, Hallie: Northport Pets Of The Week

NORTHPORT, NY — Coco and Puff, a pair of bonded siblings, and Taffy and Hallie, bonded sisters, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week. Each feline is around 3 months old.

Coco, an all-white fur female, is an energetic little spitfire, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

"As sweet and affectionate as she is, she loves to play just as much!" Wild said. "Her brother, Puff, is just pure love. A little mushy snuggle kitten, they will both follow you around all day long looking for love and affection."

They were both fostered since just days old, and just love people, according to Wild.

Taffy and Hallie are sisters. They were also fostered since just weeks old with their brothers, who have since been adopted.

"They love other cats, love the dog they are fostered with, especially Taffy, and they love each other," Wild said. "Hallie looks after Taffy. She will always comfort Taffy when she needs it, especially recently when their brothers were adopted, and they clearly missed them. They have the loveliest fur; Taffy’s almost feels like a Russian blue and her tail has the cutest little crinkle in it, making it look shorter than normal. They could adjust to almost any situation, whether there are other pets in a family or if it is just the two of them."

Weather permitting, the two pairs will be at Northport Family Night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in downtown Northport Village.

"If you are looking to add some joy into your life, these are your kittens!" Wild said.

They are neutered and spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
