Come Meet Elwood's New Superintendent of Schools

The Elwood Union Free School District invites all parents and community members to meet the district’s newly appointed Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth Bossert on Thursday, April 14.

The meet-and-greet session will take place prior to the Board of Education meeting from 6:45-7:25 p.m. in the Elwood Middle School cafeteria.

Bossert was unanimously appointed as the district's superintendent at a business meeting on Thursday, March 31. He begins his position July 1. He has served as superintendent of schools for the Port Jefferson Union Free School District since 2011. Prior to his role in Port Jefferson, he served as Three Village's assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for close to a year.
