Community Rallies Around Man Who Lost Leg in East Northport Crash
A donation page has been set up to help make the Preston family home more wheelchair accessible.

Doctors made the decision to amputate Michael Preston’s leg below the knee after he suffered a serious leg injury from an East Northport single-vehicle crash on Friday, April, 29.
Preston, 55, of East Northport, is currently recovering in the ICU and getting ready for another surgery, but when he returns home, his life is going to be a lot different.

His family is now working hard to make sure their home is wheelchair accessible for Preston’s return.
Preston has a long road ahead of him and a pile of medical bills. To help ease the financial burden, a GoFundMe page called “Support for the Preston Family” has been set up.
