Cops: Northport Man Dropped Pants in Front of Middle School Students

A 45-year-old Northport man was arrested Thursday, after he dropped his pants in front of middle school students, authorities said.

Suffolk County Police say the incident occurred at East Northport Middle School at approximately 3:55 p.m.

Arrested a short time later, the man was charged with public lewdness, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

He is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
