Credit Card Stolen In East Northport Used In Commack: Police
The man who had the card spent $2,800, police say.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A credit card stolen in East Northport was used to rack up a high charge in Commack in March, Suffolk police said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who, police said, used the card.
A man used a stolen credit card to make multiple purchases worth approximately $2,800 at CVS and Walgreens in Commack around 5:30 p.m. March 31, police said. The credit card had been stolen from a purse at Barnes and Noble in East Northport earlier that day, police said.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
