Zoe Perles said the coronavirus pandemic has caused a difficult two years for many families.
"My family and friends and I want to help in any way we can," Zoe Perles said. "We hope people take the time to stop by and enjoy some Halloween treats and partake in some much needed (Covid-safe) social interaction! Now more than ever we could use a sense of community solidarity. We are hoping our bake sale for the food pantry can provide a little of that!"
The Perles family has raised more than $18,000 in 16 years.
Kyra Perles was just 5 months old when the fundraiser was originally launched, so it has always been a part of her life.
"I was raised to try to give back to my community and the world in many different ways," Kyra Perles said. "And I believe that when you see people hurting you need to be a leader and take action."
