East Northport Firefighter Honored For 50 Years Of Service
A firefighter who has served the East Northport community for 50 years was recently honored.
EAST NORTHPORT, NY—Ex-Chief William Faltin recently celebrated his 50th year of active service as part of the East Northport Fire Department, and was recognized by the Town of Huntington Fire Chiefs Council and Suffolk County Fire Chiefs Council, P.I.O. Steve Silverman said.
Faltin served as Chief from 1981-1983 and was the recipient of the Company One Achievement Award in 2012, where he served as lieutenant and captain in the 1970s. He also was the recipient of the James Niemczyk Memorial Award twice – in 2010 and 2016, in recognition for his outstanding service to the community.
