Suffolk County Woman Arrested on Sex Trafficking Charges

The woman was arrested in Staten Island last month.

An East Northport woman was arrested last month on sex trafficking charges after police say she brought women to Staten Island with intentions of forcing them into prostitution, according to Staten Island Live.

Starlyn King, 31, was arrested in Staten Island on April 18 at 9:17 p.m. and was charged with sex trafficking, second-degree promoting prostitution and 14 counts of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

The victims believed King was bringing them to Staten Island to attend a party, not to prostitute themselves, SI Live reports.
