Eaton's Neck FD Honors 2 Firefighters

The Eaton's Neck Fire Department honored two firefighters for their service at its annual 4th of July parade.

EATON'S NECK, NY—The Eaton's Neck Fire Department honored two firefighters for their outstanding service at its annual 4th of July parade, P.I.O. Steve Silverman announced.

Ex-Chief Ed O'Donnell, who has served the department for over 37 years, in addition to acting as the longtime July 4 master-of-ceremonies, will soon be relocating to Florida.

Past Commissioner and U.S. Navy D-Day Veteran Roy Beach celebrated his 93rd birthday on July 4. Roy served in the Eaton's Neck Fire Department for over 45 years, and has 20 years prior service with the Levittown Fire Department for a total of 65 years in the volunteer fire service.
