Elderly Driver Crashes Into East Northport Physical Therapy Office: Police
An elderly woman and her husband were taken to a local hospital for evaluation after the late-morning crash on Larkfield Road, police say.
EAST NORTHPORT, NY — An elderly woman accidentally pressed the gas instead of the brake Monday morning, causing her vehicle to crash into a physical therapy office on Larkfield Road, police said.
The woman was driving a 2021 Subaru when the incident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on February 16, according to police.The vehicle struck ROM on the Run Physical Therapy, located at 290 Larkfield Road.
The driver and her husband were transported to a local hospital for evaluation following the crash, police said. Authorities did not immediately release the extent of their injuries.
