Elwood Musicians Perform at LISFA
Eight talented musicians were selected to perform in Long Island String Festival Association festivals.
From Elwood Schools: Eight talented musicians from the Elwood Union Free School District were selected to perform in the Long Island String Festival Association (LISFA) Secondary and Intermediate festivals at the end of January. Only a select number of talented student musicians throughout Suffolk county were chosen to participate in the three-day festivals.
Participants included Elwood Middle School musicians Benjamin Fuchs, violin; Giuliana Brown, violin; Angelina Song, cell; Joanna Kim, violin; Benny Lee, violin; Emma Rothleder, violin; and John H. Glenn musicians Sasha Jamal, violin, and Rithika Narayan, viola.
