Time for the Wearin' O' the Green: Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Huntington

  • The Hibernian's 77th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade winds through Huntington village starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 13.

The parade kicks off north of the Huntington train station, then follows New York Avenue before marchers turn west onto Main Street and end at Saint Patrick's School.

According to its sponsors, the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, it has become the oldest and largest St. Patrick's Day parade on Long Island, with up to 50,000 people jamming Huntington village. This year, organizers said, the parade will include more than 25 marching bands, bagpipe bands as well as high school marching bands.
