Gloria Olson Jackier Retrospective
Long Island artist Gloria Olson Jackier died on October 20, 2011 at the age of 82, leaving behind an impressive, varied catalog of work. Ms. Jackier created art throughout her life and all that she touched became her art. Whether painting in oils, acrylics and watercolors; creating imaginative needlepoint tapestries; designing one-of-a-kind collector’s dolls; or experimenting with computer enhanced images, she explored her medium and pushed it to the limits.
