The Library is pleased to present The Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island in a unique twin bill of one-act performances. First, the talented ensemble will perform “Trial by Jury,” a comic cantata that was a popular hit when it debuted in 1875 at London’s Royalty Theatre. Then the company presents Gilbert & Sullivan’s Greatest Hits, a look at some of the famous duo’s most beloved operas and songs.
No registration required, however space is limited. Please show your NENPL Library card at the door. Non-district residents will be seated as space permits.
