Departure: 9:15 a.m. from the William J. Brosnan building parking lot (across from Northport Library)

 

Return: 6:30 p.m.

 

Cost: $85 per person (checks only, non-refundable, payable to Northport-East Northport Public Library)

 

Itinerary: Our day begins with a visit to the New York Transit Museum which is housed in a historic subway station in Brooklyn Heights.  Following lunch at Junior’s, enjoy a guided tour of the Brooklyn Museum’s exhibition “Norman Rockwell: Behind the Camera.” Photographs, drawings, and tear sheets explore Rockwell’s careful staging of his subjects and offer a fascinating look at the artist’s working process.

 

Registration is underway at Northport Public Library.

9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday

1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday (second Sunday in September through June)
