Argentine tango star Nelson Avila and wife Madalyn welcomes you to the Spanish-Revival Vanderbilt Mansion for an evening of Argentine tango music, dancing and romance. Nelson will perform with Madalyn, and they will teach the tango to guests.
The gateway will open at 6:00 p.m. Guests are invited to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy during the evening. Soft drinks will be available for purchase.
The Avilas will teach a class in tango fundamentals from 6:30 to 7:00 and perform later in the evening. From 7:00 to 10:30, guests will have ample opportunity to dance the tango as well as some Latin, ballroom and swing while enjoying the ambiance of the Gold Coast Era.

In the event of rain, the event will move to the large celebration tent on the West Lawn.
