The Northport Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Richard Hyman, will present a free concert of classical music featuring Symphony No. 1 by Mendelssohn, as well as pieces by Glinka and Dvorak.  A guest appearance will be made by David Bouchier, essayist and host of Sunday Matinee, a program of classical music on radio station WSHU.

The concert will be presented at Northport High School, 154 Laurel Hill Rd. (corner of Elwood Rd.).  No tickets are needed for this free concert.  Donations are accepted; all donations benefit the orchestra.
