NORTHPORT, NY — Franki and her brother Johnny, bonded 5-month-old siblings, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

"These two will add so much joy and love into your lives!" Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue, said. "They are silly, playful, extremely affectionate, and are lap kitties."

Franki is very curious and has no fear, according to Wild.

"She is ready for anything. She is very friendly, following her foster mom everywhere, and looks out for her brother, Johnny."

Johnny can be timid at first but once he warms up he is a total mush, Wild said. He loves to be pet and have a warm lap to curl up in.

They love other cats and even like to play with dogs. They are being fostered with dogs and will jump in the middle of them and roll around while being licked by them.

"Everyone who meets them falls in love with this duo," Wild said. "We would be thrilled for them to get adopted together straight from their foster home so they never have to lose their carefree personalities even for a short while in a habitat. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to end 2023 with these sweet babies…we promise they will bring smiles and laughter and cuddles and love into your home. Isn’t that something we all need?"
