Huntington Hospital’s Centennial Gala Raises Record $720,000 for Expansion Projects

Huntington Hospital Centennial Gala honorees were Patricia Petersen and Stanley Gale.

A record $720,000 was raised during Huntington Hospital’s Centennial Gala on Friday, November 4 at the Huntington Crescent Club.

The Centennial Gala honorees were Patricia J. Petersen, president and chief executive officer of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, and Stanley C. Gale, chairman and chief executive officer of Gale International.

The record total raised at the gala will benefit the expansion of the hospital’s emergency and maternity departments as well as other capital improvements. The new Huntington Hospital emergency department is expected to open on January 3, 2017 – which wouldn’t be possible without support from Ms. Petersen and Mr. Gale, and the gala’s major sponsors including: Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, Gale International, Arlindo & Evelyn Jorge Family Foundation, Huntington Hospital Medical Staff, the Jean and Kent Gale Family, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, The Claire Friedlander Family Foundation and Kean Development Company.

Gala program highlights included performances by the New York City Swing Band, a congratulatory video from pro-golfer Jack Nicklaus and a successful silent auction.
