ICYMI: Winter Garments Sought For Northport's Operation Warmth

NORTHPORT, NY — Operation Warmth is underway. The Northport Chamber of Commerce is collecting winter garments to help adults and children in need, the chamber told Patch.
The chamber is seeking gently-used and clean warm jackets, coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Items can be dropped off between Jan. 7 and Jan. 21. Below are the drop-off locations:
- Jones Drug Store at 100 Main St.
- Cow Harbor Realty at 67 Main St.
- Copenhagen Bakery (back lobby) at 75 Woodbine Ave.
- Dutch Girl Cleaners at 705 Fort Salonga Road.
- Peoples United Bank at 836 Fort Salonga Road.
