John Glenn HS’s 'Addams Family' Earns 10 Hunting-Tony Nominations

ELWOOD, NY — Elwood-John H. Glenn High School's annual musical production of “The Addams Family” has been nominated for 10 Hunting-Tony Awards, including best musical, the Elwood School District announced.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for June 6 at Huntington High School, at 188 Oakwood Road, Huntington. (Correction: The article originally stated the location of the ceremony as John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, but Huntington High School is the correct location, according to a legislative aide to Huntington Councilwoman Joan Cergol).

Other nominations include senior Braden Gastaldi (as “Gomez Addams”) for best
lead actor and best male vocalist, senior Jenna Velez (“Alice”) for best supporting actress
and best female vocal performance, senior Aidan McNamara (“Uncle Fester”) for best
supporting actor, junior Colby Knorr (“Lurch”) for best featured actor, best pit orchestra,
best technical production and best crew.

“The Addams Family" was performed on March 25 and 26 in John Glenn’s brand-new Performing Arts Center, with representatives from the Town of Huntington in attendance.

“Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, pit and production team for an incredible
collaborative effort,” teacher Rachel Nagle said.
