ELWOOD, NY — Trinity Hausch, a senior at Elwood-John H. Glenn High School and an accomplished artist, recently had her painting “Strawberries on the Oven” exhibited in a juried show at the Art League of Long Island in Dix Hills, according to a news release from the school district.

"At first, the art show was overwhelming," Hausch said via the release. "It was the first time I
participated in something like that, and all of the art was amazing. For my AP Art portfolio, I
have been trying to focus on realism and light, but it was eye-opening to be exposed to so
many different styles and mediums. There were artists working on huge canvases, some
using fabric, and others using glass and clay. It was exciting to be surrounded by that much
creativity."
