Kitten Season! Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: 6 Felines

NORTHPORT, NY — Kitten season is in full swing! That means the Northport Cat Rescue Association has three pairs of felines for its Kittens of the Week.

Each kitten, around 3 months old, is paired with a bonded sibling.

First up, meet brothers Ben and Jerry. The long-haired cats are best friends, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

"Ben is a polydactyl, with some extra toes that add to his incredible biscuit making!" Wild wrote. "He loves a good cuddle and even some belly rubs. Jerry never far from his brother, is the more playful of the duo. He loves his toys and will cry if his brother is not around to play or cuddle. They are adorable, sweet and affectionate."

Sterling and Gemma are two of the calmest and sweetest kittens ever, according to Wild. Sterling, the only boy from his litter, is a total mush.

"He steals everyone’s heart away, while Gemma is quiet, loving, and mellow," Wild said. "She is simply beautiful."

Crystal and Diamond, bonded sisters, are two little balls of fluff, Wild said. They are double trouble, running around, wrestling, and playing. Once they tire themselves out, they look for a warm lap to curl up in and nap.

"They are very affectionate, and their silly antics will keep you amused all day long," Wild said. "Anyone lucky enough to adopt any of these kittens, will fall in love with them more each day. They have all been handled and loved in foster care since just a few weeks old, and as much as they each love each other, they love people the same way!"

They are all spayed or neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
